Bold as Love, Doing What Doesn't Come Naturally

Bob Roberts Jr. makes some outstanding points about interacting with other individuals who are not of our same Faith or belief system in his stellar novel, BOLD AS LOVE What can Happen When we see People the Way God Does.  We call ourselves Christians yet how many times do we miss the opportunity to engage with those who are not of similar faiths?  Do we stay away out of fear or making waves.  Are we not up to the challenge?  Is it possible to respect someone else for their belief and love them as God does.  Yes, it is entirely possible as the author outlines for us but it may mean being uncomfortable when you first try.  Let's face it, some people may never see things the way  we do yet the only thing God expects of us is to love them.  Love them enough to respect their views.  I enjoyed reading this book which I recieved from Handlebar publishing in exchange for my review.  I think the meaning is so important and can be applied to loving others who may be unique and different in any way to which is different from our own.  This is the true test of God's spirit working in our lives.  Those things which are difficult for me to do naturally can be accomplished with Gods spirit which he freely gives us.  This book has given me the desire to make the opportunity to meet others from different faiths.  An outstanding read~

Keeping it Real With Coricidin HBP

Having High Blood Pressure is no laughing matter, it is very serious and those with hypertension know as well as I how hard it is to find the right kind of medication to take when you don't feel well.  Most of the time we could only suffer through the miserable symptoms without any relief so when I was given the opportunity as a Bzz Agent to try their cold and flu tablets, I jumped at the chance.  Many factors weigh into my struggles with hypertension.  Not only did I inherit it from my grandfather and my dad but I also have a chronic painful disease.  The two conflicts keep me constantly aware of my condition and on my toes as to what I can eat or not eat and take without causing further problems.  Coricidin HBP was a miracle for me.  The past week I had been suffering with a runny nose and fever making it difficult to sleep.  After taking my first dosage of Coricidin HBP, I slept like a baby.  It was wonderful and my body sorely needed it.  I awoke refreshed and happy with energy I hadn't had in sometime.  Coricidin HBP carries a line of products geared for those with High Blood Pressure.  I'm elated over these awesome products and will gladly recommend to all those I know.

Although Dying, Deb Glorifies God for Cancer

Margaret Terry's DEAR DEB will make us all realize there must be a God and that his miracles do exist.  This is a true account of  a young woman afflicted with both brain and lung cancer and her quest to find a miracle.  Margaret Terry knowing Deb as an acquaintance through Church has a desire to encourage her with her writings.  The finished book is a lovely account of how God truly works in mysterious ways.  Margaret digs deep into her past to send passages of hope to Deb on a regular basis.  The bond that is created is bittersweet because the author knows that it will be short lived, Deb is not getting better.  The letters are 'the miracles' that Deb needed to get through each day and Ms. Terry enjoys doing this for her.  The reader will find a real miracle in Deb's words as she states to Margaret the following '"If my illness inspired you to write these stories, the cancer was worth it."'  Deb knew God and she believed in his promises.  She knew her body would be whole in Heaven and she had no doubt as to where she was going.  This book was a priviledge to read for the Book Sneeze network in exchange for my review.  I am and will be a better person for reading this.  Deb is a hero, to be able to thank God under such circumstances and to share her last months with us and Margaret Terry is also a hero for sticking by Deb's side knowing the heartbreak she would feel when she was gone.  This book brought back memories of my best friend who passed away in 2003 of pancreatic cancer.  It was very emotional for me but also one of the most inspiring books that I have read in 2012.  I wasn't able to put it down.

Encomium for Nick Vujicic

Just when society thought that there were no adequate role models, along comes Nick Vujicic.  A young man who was born with gargantuan challenges yet celebrates Life with a thankful heart and incredible courage.  If  we all could emulate the strength and willingness to encourage others like Mr. Vujicic, our lives could be a beacon of  God's unfailing love such as his is.  In his book,  Your Life Without Limits: Living Above Your Circumstances the author proves that nothing can quench the human spirit except ones self.  Nick Vujicic shares his testimony of  how he was not born with any limbs (arms or legs) and how he wants to acheive some type of  normalcy.  He struggles with not wanting to be a burden to others and prays to find his place.  He also shares his fight with suicide which would befall any of us had we been in his position.  His prayers are answered as he discovers hope in his maker and he begins to take challenges and overcompensate with what he can acheive to overcome his impediment.  In time, Nick is defying all the odds as he learns that he can gain victory.  His amazing journey will inspire all who read it.  The author successfully gives all a recipe to follow to overcome any obstacle they may be facing and how to retain hope and joy through suffering. His story is number one in my best books of 2012.  I have been given the wonderful opportunity to examine his biography for Walterbrook Multnomah Blog Program in exchange for my review.  Please enjoy the trailer of  this best seller below and than get on the bandwagon and obtain your own copy!

Secrets of Heaven Revealed for Anxious Young Readers

Being a member of the Tyndale Blog Network brings exciting rewards.  Recently I was given Kathleen Long Bostrom's book for children What about Heaven? in exchange for my review.  Rarely, am I at a loss for adequate words and for a few weeks I just kept saying 'wow' after getting my hands on this sweet melody of song.  The author took into consideration all that a pure young child would ask about the afterlife and than she answered these questions with poetry and scriptural verses.  This book is as precious as the young children that it would bless, the answers will be clearly understood and the adorable illustrations contributed by Elena Kucharik will enhance their pleasant experience.  This would make the perfect gift for all children and also those who have difficulty understanding the scripture.  I'm not too embarrassed to admit that I have picked up a child's book on particular bible stories whenever I had difficulty in the past.  Here's a sneakpeek of this awesome book, '"It is always daytime~there is never night.  The Light of God's Love will be shining so bright"'.  This review comes with highest recommendations.
