Coloring the Classy

Zoe De Las Cases offers this classy, coloring book which deserves a thousand applauds.  I just love it.
With complete guides being sold on the adult benefits of coloring and tons of books offering tips and techniques it is no surprise that these coloring books are in demand.  There are coloring books for whatever your passion may be.  I'm fortunate, as a book reviewer to have seen many of these books first hand.  My favorite coloring books are unique; not like all the others.   Hence, the main reason I fell head over hills for Paris Street Style.  The cover is very sturdy, like a regular book and there is an elastic book mark to show your friends your finished pages.  The pictures are of fashion, a subject dear to most women.  I recommend this as a Mother's Day Gift along with some coloring pencils.  I was given the honor to review this wonderful publication through Blogging For Books for my honest review.

Will Capture The Heart of Cat Lovers

Lisa Erspamer gets credit for this sweet compilation of notes between feline fans and their respective furry little friends.  The love is deep and the tales of memories will soften the readers heart.  Among the contributing writers are such greats as Mariel Hemingway, Gina Gershon and Stacy London.  The photos are superb.  This book will be treasured for many years to come.  I was elated to review for Blogging for Books.  I was happy to get the invite and now I found the perfect holiday gift for about a dozen of my friends and family.  Learn more about the writer here Author's Bio

Calling all Disney fans!

Through the years "Disney" has brought families together and made beautiful memories.  Just in time for Christmas they have given us another reason to celebrate.... The new
"Disney Classic's" boxed set contains 90+ of our Disney favorite tunes.  PRE-ORDER TODAY
Disney Classics
From The Studio's earliest days, music has always been an integral part of the Disney creative process. But when 'Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf' debuted in 1933, it began a musical legacy that remains unmatched to this day. Disney Classics Box Set is a music collection that represents this legacy.

Timeless Classics
Collected here are some of the most iconic melodies from Disney's golden era. From 'When You Wish Upon a Star' to 'A Spoonful of Sugar' and 'Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah' to 'The Whistle Stop,' these Timeless Classics are part of a musical heritage inextricably woven into our human culture heirlooms passed down through the generations.

Modern Classics
This compilation begins with 1989's The Little Mermaid, which not only ignited the renaissance of Disney Animation and storytelling, but a rebirth of Disney Music as well. Favorites from 'Under the Sea,' 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'A Whole New World,' these Modern Classics continue to shape the company's musical history and heritage.

Television Classics
Spanning from the 1950s to present day, this album represents quite an eclectic compilation of themes. At the very least, it's an interesting musical graph of changing tastes and social evolution over the last 60+ years. Everything from 'The Ballad of Davy Crockett,' to 'Get'cha Head in the Game' from High School Musical, is represented on this album, but probably the most beloved of these Television Classics however, has to be the 'Mickey Mouse Club Alma Mater.'

Theme Park Classics
Music plays a vital role in the Parks as well; whether it be cleverly establishing an attraction's story or the sheer brilliance of underscoring the banks and turns of a thrilling roller coaster. Collected here are not only those Theme Park Classics we know and love today, but others we fondly remember from days gone by.

Special Thank You to "Six White Ties" For Pampering This Mom

Six White Ties specializes in handmade soaps, salts and scrubs which they feature at their Etsy Shop. Etsy is my favorite online mall for everything hand created and vintage items. It's the place I go when I can afford free time or I would waste the day away filtering through hundreds of treasures. Recently I was the very fortunate recipient of Six White Ties Pamper Mom Giveaway. I was awarded an adorable gift box of 5 bar soaps in luscious scents that were wrapped so pretty in ribbon that I debated whether to open them or not. Hands Down, Six White Ties devote a lot of care and detail to their products. Shop owner, Jenifer Burleigh states, '"Glycerin soap is one of the most nourishing “habits” for your skin, pampering and cleansing at the same time. We add at minimum 2% grape seed oil to every bar. All ingredients are cosmetic grade, these bars are between 3.5 to 4 oz. They are hand cut and had poured so no two are the same."' Six White Ties have certainly made a believer out of me and I will be a fan for life. The soaps are of excellent quality and the gift boxes are an awesome bargain. Although a review was not required of me, I just had to share these delightful products! Six White Ties is a member of Handcrafted Soapmaker Guild, definitely a shop to bookmark and revisit.

The Perfect Gift for Baby Jesus~

As a young child, more times than nought, I felt a kin to the Little Drummer Boy wondering 'Who am I to know the King and what have I to give him?' It took many years before I would come to realize that none of us are worthy enough and that Jesus was our gift from God. Last night, my spouse and I exchanged gifts since we would be traveling tonight (Christmas Eve). Tears literally rolled down my cheeks when I opened Harold's gift to me...my very own Sony Internet TV with Google Android HD built in. To make a long story short, my prized laptop died a few months back and I certainly did not want to spend the family's money on this sort of luxury. However, with my disability my sweet husband realized this is my prime contact with the outside world. He wanted to make my dream come true and what meant more than this to me was the warm sentiment that comes with knowing he truly loves me. Yes, I have been blessed. Now I can continue to blog of God's goodness to my hearts content.
Ironically, this is not my birthday nor your birthday but it is the Day that Christ was borne. In many ways, I am still like that young girl I was many moons ago...inadequate and unsure of what I could give to Jesus. The glorious truth is that all he wants is our hearts, our sincere desire to follow him and place Him first in our lives. I can't imagine my life without him and the tender guidance he has given or the loving support and encouragement. As the world has sought many other avenues to walk down, my sincere prayer is to remain faithful to the little baby in the Manger. The greatest gift we can give to him is ourselves~

Wishing you all a Safe & Joyful Holiday!
Soon to come...A special New Years Giveaway for my followers. Spread the word to have your friends sign up~
