Kroger Chocolate Lava Cake Is Trending~

Kudo's to Kroger for making it impossible not to bake a cake for your family.  Their Lava Cake is already mixed in the bag that it comes in.  Uncut bag and pour the mix in 8" x 8" cake pan.  Turn on oven to 350 degrees.  Put pan in oven and wait 35 minutes.  Take out and let cool.  I thought that something had to go wrong being that easy to do.  But the cake came out Heavenly.  In less than a day the cake was gone.  MyMagazine gave me the sweet opportunity to try before I buy.  I plan on stocking up in near future.

Denise's Lasagna Featuring Arla Dofino Havarti Cheese~

So I get this incredibly awesome campaign from Bzz Agent to review Arla Dofino cheeses which are out of this world.  They are well known for their Gouda; Havarti; Edam; Munster & Fontina cheese.  I found them in the gourmet end cap at Kroger's in Michigan.  Here is a link to  Other Locations .  Keep in mind that they may not be located alongside regular cheeses in the dairy section, because these are special you may have to ask for assistance.  I decided on trying the Havarti Cheese.  It makes for the most delicious, healthy snack that your family will ask for over and over.  My husband and I  melted the havarti cheese on crackers.  We loved this so much that I decided to try the Havarti cheese in our family favorite lasagna.  I will never make lasagna without Arla Dofino Haverti Cheese again, it is that stellar!  I take pride in that this is my recipe which I will share with you below (minus my secret spaghetti sauce recipe).
                                Denise's Lasagna
Recipe for spaghetti sauce with meat
   1/2 lb of lasagna noodles
   1 tbs salt
   1 tbs olive oil
1 lb of Arla Dofino Haverti Cheese slices
   1 lb ricotta cheese
   1/2 lb mozzarella cheese
   1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender.  Drain and add oil.  Arrange in shallow 2 1/2 quart baking dish, making 3 layers each of cooked noodles; havarti cheese; ricotta cheese; mozzarella cheese; sauce and grated cheese.  Bake in oven at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.  Let cool before serving.
Serve with hot rolls or Italian bread and butter.
Now that's Italian.  Your family will be begging for more.
With Arla Dofino Cheeses you can make nutritious meals all of the time and that get's an A+ from me!

Fiber One Protein CRANBERRY ALMOND Cereal, So Good You Will Think It's Dessert~

Have you ever had those cereals that were so packed with sugar that they were a turn off? General Mills got the natural sweetness down pat with their New Fiber One Protein Cranberry Almond Cereal.  In fact, it is so delicious that I have to remind myself that it's not dessert but a meal.  A definite plus is there is only 220 calories per serving and that it contains 20% of the daily fiber content we need.  Now with Valentine's Day right around the corner, which is my wedding anniversary...I've found the perfect way to celebrate that morning with my spouse.  Because of BzzAgent and General Mills I was able to taste this new cereal in exchange for my honest opinion.

Healthy Means Taste Great With General Mills New Fiber One Protein Cereal's

Being a Bzz Agent has it's perks such as receiving free boxes of the new General Mills Fiber One Protein Cereals in exchange for my honest review.  Noone knows better than my family that this mom has a sweet tooth and healthy foods don't generally turn me on.  Not until I tried the New Fiber One Protein Cereal Maple Brown Sugar.  After my products arrived, I wasn't certain what to expect.  I was blown over after trying the Maple Brown Sugar.  Who would believe that something so healthy could tastes as awesome as well.  I love love love the taste, so much in fact that I not only eat it for my breakfast cereal but I have a couple handfuls at night when I need a sweet snack. Only two days into this campaign and more than half of my box is already gone.  That's ok, I'm planning on a long love affair with Fiber One Protein cereals.  For all of those out there who made their New Year's Resolution to watch their weight....this is a preferred treat for you.  Who say's that cereal can only be eaten in the morning.  At only 240 calories per cup, this is a better decision for lunch than those high fat and calorie sandwiches.  Finally I think I'll be able to reach my weight goals...Thanks to General Mills; Bzz Agent and Fiber One Protein Cereals.  Next to try and I should be posting about is the Cranberry Almond Fiber One Protein Cereal.  See you than~

Love Frozen Yogurt? How's 50 Calories Sound?

Love ice cream and frozen treats but are worried about the extra pounds that we add on by enjoying them?  My favorite desert is ice cream and frozen yogurt and I could name you all the brands that offer these type of treats at lower calories.  I'm not going to do that here because Kroger's frozen treats carry the lowest; I was elated to find out that there is only 50 calories per frozen yogurt bar...Yes, it's true.  I was fortunate enough to pick up a box yesterday as a Bzz Agent activity.  I choose the strawberry-banana flavor for my family, actually I thought they would be turned off to them once I told them this was a healthy treat.  My goal was to keep the whole box for myself (smile).  Well, things did not turn out that way.  My husband didn't give me a chance to try before he had the box open and started to eat one.  Within ten minutes he had three devoured, licking his lips and bragging how delicious they are.  I knew that that I would have to hurry and try one for myself  which confirmed that they are over the top.  Not only are they less expensive, you can buy the 12 or 6 pack box, but they have less calories.  Don't be left out, Kroger's stocks them in the freezers.
