Perfect Family Heirloom

Simply divine New International Version Bible which is intended for children but many adults would cherish as well.  This would make a perfect heirloom to pass along from generation to generation.  Phenomenal illustrations to color, each with a corresponding scripture.  There is included a presentation page for the purpose of gift giving.  The bind is made to lie flat in order to color more easily.  There is a pink ribbon marker attached.  There is much thought put into this precious Bible. It definitely will make Holiday gift buying easier.  I was honored to review this treat in exchange for my honest review from Book Look Bloggers.  I give it an A+

The Berenstain Bears ad the Christmas Angel is sure to delight children and the young at heart this holiday season.  Since 1962 the berenstain bear book stories have been teaching little ones valuable lessons about life.  Mike Berenstain has started where his parent's left off.  This newest addition opens with a verse from scripture.  This is one of many stories based on the angels mentioned in the Bible.  I was very touched by Zonderkidz Berenstain Bears.  I was given the opportunity to review for the BookLook Bloggers.

The Bible of What Is On Your Dog's Mind

For most, their precious pups are part of  their family.  Dogs melt our heart and bring comfort in ways nobody else can.  So when the opportunity arises where we can communicate with our furry friends, everyone jumps at the chance.  Victoria Stilwell, star of Animal Planet's It's Me or the Dog has created the perfect book for owners to learn what is going on in their pet's minds.  Every time that I notice a different look on my dogs face I run and get my copy of The Secret Language of Dogs ~ Unlocking the Canine Mind for a Happier Pet.  I cherish this book and have learned a lot in a few short weeks.
There is a section on how to speak to your pet and what tones to use.  This helps greatly when training little fido.  There are also sections on pet behaviors which disturb us and how we can get them out of bad habits.
I rate this stellar book with all stars and am grateful I was able to read in exchange for my reviews for Blogging for Books.

Read and Interact With the Children for Christmas

Children love interacting while spending time with their loved ones.  This collection of stories based upon the birth of Christ offers hours of enjoyment between parent and child.  Geared for those between the ages of 4-8, the writer Glenys Nellist has included a personalized letter from God for the reader after each story.  While the kids anticipate their gift, parents can conjure up a question and answer period for every read.  Rachel Clowes has illustrated the book.  As a Book Look Member. I was given the opportunity to read this.

Everything You Need to Know While Caregiving

Jane Daly realizes how bittersweet caring for our aging parents can be.  She expresses this well in the account of experiences she had in caring for her family.  The Caregiving Season, Finding Grace to Honor Your Aging Parents offers sound advice, support and consolation for those enduring the same.  Her choice of scripture brings encouragement.  Having been through this stage of Life I concur that many times our emotions feel like they are on a roller coaster.  The Author is sensitive in preparing us for the worst.  Jane Daly's book is a true gift for all caregivers.  She also shares how to find time to take care of ourselves.
I highly recommend.
I was honored to read this book for the Tyndale Bloggers in exchange for my thoughts.

Art Wolfe Takes His Readers Around The World

Few have the means to travel to Africa; or witness the Himalayas and natural wonders.  Legendary Art Wolfe allows us this priviledge in his newest publication "Photographs From The Edge".  He shares the beauty of the World through his lens, capturing the most soul stirring events.  All the while He shares his photo tips and camera settings.  Not only is this publication an asset for up and coming photographers but also a treasure for those who are curious about the customs of other nationalities around the world.  Photographs from the Edge is such a great conversation starter that it also makes for an excellent coffee table read.
With so much to learn and share, this book would make for a wonderful gift. Blogging for Books gave me the fine opportunity of reviewing this in exchange for my review.
