The writer retell's of her first Christmas after the death of her spouse when she feels overwhelmed and totally alone. She wants to make the Holiday's special for her children but funds are strained. When word spreads among friends and neighbors, they get together to make Christmas special for her and the children. A very touching book with a powerful message.
