Debbie Morris's The Blessed Woman is a definite must read for all women walking the Christian faith. What she so wisely relates to us is that the women of the Bible were not so much different than ourselves and they faced similar difficulties and challenges. By using scripture to back up her points, Debbie successfully proves to us that we all have weaknesses and fears yet God truly loves his people and continues to work with them as long as they rely on him. There are so many uplifting lessons in this book. I could really relate to her chapter on Hagar "Finding Purpose in The Midst of Pain" because of my own experiences. The author shares the stories of all the woman of the Bible who found Grace through God and they serve as examples for all of us.
