I really enjoyed this book by J Heinrich Arnold entitled "Discipleship, Living for Christ in the Daily Grind". Many of my personal questions were answered regarding different scriptures and what they meant. One example being where Jesus states that '"anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me"'. Arnold plainly explains that those of us who get caught up with the drama brought on by family life whereby we lose sight of the Holy Spirit and the pure love of Christ. This is one book that I decided to take as much time as I needed to study and re-study. I am not surprized by the number of supporters of this book that he has; Mother Teresa, Jimmy Carter and Elisabeth Elliot among more. I had the priviledge of reading for Handlebar Publishing.

Abby Johnson Takes Stand Against Abortion
As a former Planned Parenthood Leader, Abby Johnson did everything to justify the reason she was assisting in abortion so that she could live with her conscious. She would fool herself by telling herself that if she didn't help these women out that they would go to an illegal abortion doctor and possibly die. She even convinced herself that she was doing God's will and would attend churches which purposely didn't have a strong stand against abortion. In her true account "Unplanned" Abby reveals what opened her eyes to the real dangers and damages of abortion and how she was spiritually transformed. Her testimony is strong and loud and she shares that everything about Planned Parenthood is a lie. I was given the opportunity to read this tremendous experience from Tyndale Blog Network in exchange for my honest opinion. I highly recommend this book.

Beautiful Devotional
Evening Prayers by Christoph Friedrich Blumhardt is the perfect way to end the day. Each prayer for the day has it's own special scriptural reading along with the author's thoughts. Scripture is carefully appointed to uplift and encourage. This devotion will bring peace to the readers soul. This would make for the perfect holiday gift. As a member of Handlebar, I was given the opportunity to review.
Watch For The Light Expounds Upon The True Meaning of Christmas
Somewhere among the Black Friday Sales, the massive decorations and long gift lists we have all lost perspective as to the true meaning of Christmas. Many individuals become depressed because they can't spend a lot of money this year or one of their family members are no longer with them for the Season. If we go back and reflect upon the real reason for Christmas which is hope, than many of these worries and stressors would dispel. Watch For The Light Readings for Advent and Christmas puts Jesus Birth and the reflection of his birth way ahead of any other priority for the Holiday. This book is a must read as a reminder of the importance of our Savior's birth. Handlebar gave me the opportunity to review this fine collection in exchange for my views.
