Ron Marasco's "The Dog Who Was There" will soften the Hardest Heart

Author Ron Marasco's "The Dog Who Was There" will soften the hardest heart.  Those who know the real unconditional love of a pet will agree this was the perfect choice for a lead character in this novel.  Barley comes from painful beginnings having no home and knowing real hunger.  Barley longs to meet the special teacher from Galilee.  Along his journey he befriends a petty criminal.  They face adversary and difficulty together but there is much hope awaiting him.  This fictional story shares the utmost joy when Barley bears witness to Jesus Christ.  This book is heart wrenching and heart warming at the same time.  I was given the wonderful opportunity to review in exchange for my thoughts.  Many will fall in love with Barley and it's a story that should be shared among generations.  I was given the ultimate opportunity to review this novel for BookLook
bloggers in exchange for my thoughts.  Very inspirational.

The Beyond Suffering Bible Is An Answered Prayer

Long overdue THE BEYOND SUFFERING BIBLE answers all those questions which make individuals take a backseat to serving God such as:  If God is Loving, why does He allow suffering. Why doesn't He just stop all the hurting and pain.  This unique Bible answers these harrowing questions to confirm to readers that He has a plan for all things.
Tyndale could not have chosen a more adequate spokesperson for their newest creation than Joni Earickson Tada who became a permanent quadriplegic after a diving incident at a very young age. I greatly recommend reading her true story of triumph and faith which inspired me as a teenager Joni's autobiography .  Her disability has drawn her closer to her Savior and she has become an asset to the Christian community as helping all those with disabilities.  She has worked to add wonderful resources to these scriptures such as ten guided Bible reading plans '"that help you walk through Scripture on key topics related to suffering and disability."'  On every single page there are connection points or study brief's which focus on Biblical suffering.  There are so many enduring features included in this Bible such as book introductions; Profiles; and devotionals.  All to assist and deepen your understanding of how Christians cope with suffering.
I love this Bible and have not been able to put it down since I received my copy from Tyndale in exchange for my thoughts.  What a blessing which has been designed to give as a gift.  I can't say enough good about this tool which will encourage and uplift your spirits. A+

Inspirational Coloring

Multnomah's God Bless America 'A Patriotic Coloring Book' was laying eloquently across our coffee table when my mother flew in on an emergency trip to Michigan from Florida.  The moment my mother caught it's gaze, she was thrilled.  Wanting this masterpiece for myself, I asked my mother if she realized it was a coloring book.  And than came her words, "But you bought it for me, didn't you?'.  No I hadn't said that but she had a way of making me believe it.  After all mom came in to help me after my first heart attack.  Yes, at the young age of 60 I endured a heart attack on June 16, 2016.  It's the least I can do (give her the book) to show my appreciation.  The inspirational quotes and biblical messages would bring her comfort in the days ahead.  Multnomah is one of my favorite Christian Publishing houses.  I was offered the opportunity to read this best seller for Book Look Bloggers in exchange for my view.

Wonders of Creation~Oh, So Lovely

Zondervan's "Wonders of Creation" is just Oh so Lovely.  For coloring book fans as myself, these illustrations of animals and plants would look perfect in a frame once completed.  I have found that coloring does ease one's stress and brings contentment.  A wonderful treasure for your creative moments.  With Mother's Day right around the corner, this would make for the perfect gift along with colored pencils or markets.  It seems that adult coloring books are in high demand atleast at the places I shop.  Kudos to Book Look Bloggers for the stellar opportunity to review this book.

Give The Gift Of Encouragement to Those Facing Breast Cancer

The NIV Pink Bible An Invitation to Hope is the perfect gift you can give your loved one that is facing breast cancer.  Beautifully boxed and ready to give, it contains a special index to verses of hope and encouragement.  Also enclosed is ten special pages of prayers and reflections along with a pretty ribbon marker.  Show your concern even when it is hard to put into words by bringing your loved one positive messages of how God will grant his strength and peace.  I am honored to have reviewed this new Bible for Zondervan and Book Look Bloggers.

God Gave Us Angels Will Touch The Hearts of All Who Read

Lisa Tawn Bergren has a magical way to inspire everyone's hearts and that is through her God Gave Us series.  In simple terms she helps young and old alike to understand the Goodness of serving God.  In her latest creation, "God Gave Us Angels" Papa Cub and Little Cub explore everything about Angels including what they do all day and what they look like.  Laura J. Bryant lends her beautiful illustrations (she does a splendid job).  This special book will give you quality time with your little ones while they learn to praise God.  I was given the great opportunity to review this book for Blogging for Books.  To learn more about the author, click here.

The PERFECT Remedy for Conflicted Souls~

As a member of Tyndale Network I chose Dr. Reggie Anderson's "APPOINTMENTS WITH HEAVEN" to review with great anticipation to read of the experiences he embraces with those passing on.  These true accounts for me would become the icing on the cake.  His book has much more to offer.  Never before was I so enchanted with each aspect of a book that I deliberately took time to read and re-read my favorite parts.  I wanted to savor in what the writer was telling us without missing anything.  I enjoyed being a part of the doctor's journey from early childhood to adult.  Perhaps because I could relate so well with him, I found that the author and I come from similar backgrounds.  We were both born with a spiritual spoon in our mouths surrounded by a loving, Christian family and very protected by the harshness of the world around us.  Dr. Anderson's childhood was filled with guidance; incredible support; joy and discipline.  His faith was strong during those early years.  When a family of beloved friends are murdered his faith is shattered.  He can't comprehend that a loving God could allow such an evil act to come upon people who have always put him first.  So the young Reggie concludes that there must not be a God.  This book is the perfect remedy for all those who have lost the faith or individuals who ever doubted that there is a God.  As a young man, Reggie choses to believe in Science until he finds that it really isn't the answer.  A miracle happen's to send this prodigal back to his first love, God.  Not wanting to reveal what happens, I recommend all to get a copy of this outstanding biography.  I just couldn't put it down.

Cancer Could Not Stop Kristian Anderson's Love

After winning the hearts of Millions via you tube, Kristian Anderson shares his struggle with cancer in his  book, Day's Like These Even in the Darkest Moments Light Can Shine Through.  Kristian surprizes his wife with a video he created for her birthday and he posts it on You Tube to share with the World his undying love for his partner.  Once it went viral, he gains a multitude of fans and well wishers.  Only 34 years old, the young Australian is struck with bowel and liver cancer.  Although receiving this terminal illness diagnosis, Kristian refuses to give up hope and he shares with us his most intimate moments.  Booksneeze gave me the awesome opportunity to read this fascinating story in exchange for my thoughts.  Having lost my best friend and most recently my beloved mother-in-law to cancer Kristian's story was quite therapeutic for me.  I am in awe of his courage and concerns for his loved ones rather than himself.  This book was one of Oprah's favorites, ''He taught us how to LIVE with cancer.  The Light he left on earth will be dimmed by his passing."'  I agree with Ms. Winfrey's sentiment.  Kristian's story will remind us not to take anything for granted and to be grateful whatever our lot may be.  Perhaps the greatest significance of his sharing is that I was able to understand better what the cancer patient goes through.  He writes about chemo and it's aftereffects which even close loved ones don't talk about while they go through this.  It is a stellar read which I highly recommend to all.

Nick Vujicic's Success Story Will Inspire All to Do The Same

Life Without Limits "Inspiration for a ridiculously Good Life" by Nick Vujicic is the second autobiography that I have read by this stellar character.  His attitude and faith help him overcome the bad hand that his has been dealt with.  Although Mr. Vujicic would probably disagree that it was a bad hand.  Born without any arms or legs does not dissuade him from any goal that he sets forth to accomplish.  His humbleness and thankfulness are miracles to all his readers.  The purpose for his book in his own words are as follows: '"I do believe my life has no limits.  I want you to feel same way about your life, no matter what your challenges may be.  What would your're life be if anything were possible?"'  I am inspired by his excitement for life and always come away feeling badly that my minute problems are nothing in comparison to the road the author had to take.  His story reminds me not to take anything for granted and that others have worse circumstances yet they don't complain. This awesome book which I had the fine opportunity of reading from Walterbrookmulnomah Blogging for Books network in exchange for my review always makes me a better person.  I keep a copy on hand for days I might be having a difficult time.  This book will have an impact on all ages and genre of people, we all could learn something powerfully good from the writer.  Nick has chosen to make his life a life of value and share that with others and he gives honor to God for his strength and courage.  Not only do I recommend this book but deeply feel that you will shortchange yourself by not reading it.

Tasting the Sweet Water of Life~ A review

Tasting The Sweet Water of Life by Diana Houlihan reminds us that there is still good in this world . She shares with us her journey of walking with Jesus Christ  and how he tenderly guided her to her present place of contentment and peace.  Through testimony, poetry and experiences she gladly gives her Savior all of the Praise.  Relating the joys and struggles of being an Elder's daughter; her book would encourage many young people facing the same.  For all others, her words bring comfort and inspiration understanding that all we go through is for a great cause when we know the Lord.  I look forward to referring back to her poetry whenever I may need an uplift.  This is Diana Houlihan's first project and I find myself craving for more.
